This month's Grand Knight's message:

Understanding Islam

Dear Brothers in Faith,

I often receive e-mails or videos concerning topics or stories on the Muslim faith, especially with recent and current world events involving Islam.

Some of us have a background that understands this religion more than others, especially those who have lived in or closer to Islamic States.  I myself, have only known living in this young country Canada, founded on Christianity, was looking in getting a better understanding without relying on sources such as mass media and thought I would share with our Council.

Here is a link to more information for anyone looking for a better understanding “What Catholics Should Know About Islam.” http://www.kofc.org/un/en/resources/cis/cis317.pdf

Also, the Pontical Council for Interreligious Dialogue (PCID) is the source for more information http://www.pcinterreligious.org/

Vivat Jesus,

Paul Bertrand, GK
