As per February 2015 Chaplain's Report

In our General Meeting, we heard in the Chaplain's Report about two issues that as Knights, true Catholic Men, we should be aware and concerned of.  The proposed changes from our Ontario government in changing the curriculum of our children's sex education and the Supreme Court of Canada preparing to issue a landmark ruling on euthanasia and the Ontario College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario’s (CPSO’s) draft policy “Professional Obligations and Human Rights” on physician assisted suicide.

If you would like an insight to the topics, I suggest you tap into the following links.

Seek the information and take action if you believe our voice is not being heard,.  Information can be found in articles, websites and speaking to our Church Leaders.

Excerpted from the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
2223 Parents have the first responsibility for the education of their children.
2229 As those first responsible for the education of their children, parents have the right to choose a school for them which corresponds to their own convictions. This right is fundamental. As far as possible parents have the duty of choosing schools that will best help them in their task as Christian educators. 38 Public authorities have the duty of guaranteeing this parental right and of ensuring the concrete conditions for its exercise.

2277 Whatever its motives and means, direct euthanasia consists in putting an end to the lives of handicapped, sick, or dying persons. It is morally unacceptable.

The Year Of The Consecrated

The Year Of The Consecrated
Dear Little Crackerjack, The Holy Father has called this year, the "Year of the Consecrated" because the religious life is very important in the life
frpaul banner

Dear Little Crackerjack,

The Holy Father has called this year, the "Year of the Consecrated" because the religious life is very important in the life of the Church. The whole People of God needs to be reminded of the perennial importance of religious life.
Watch my homily for January 27th, and be sure to share it with your friends ... because faith grows by sharing it!
This week I will be conducting a retreat for my team of helpers. I would like to request from you, my fearless Crackerjacks, three Hail Mary's each day for the spiritual fruits of this retreat.

Children Christmas Party 2014

Wasn't That A Party?
The Knights of Columbus did a great job in placing a smile on many children's faces and filled them with the "Christmas Spirit" of the season.

The 2014 Annual St. Isaac Jogues Children Christmas Party held on Sunday December 7th was a  success and offered a delicious lunch, games, activities, movie and music.  Let us not forget the special guest,  jolly St.Nick, Santa Clause.

Many activities to take part in.

The hall was decorated with the Christmas Season colours and a delicious smell of the kid's favourite food - fries, filled the room.  All seemed to enjoy taking part in the event.

Brother Jose and family cookin' up the lunch.

This annual event is well participated by our parish community and builds upon the celebration of our saviour's birthday, but also the great pillar's of the Knights - Charity, Unity & Fraternity
